The Sisters Fellowship is an inclusive group of women of all ages and stages of life. Historically, Moravian women were referred to as “sisters.” Although this is no longer common practice, the Sisters Fellowship of Calvary honors the idea that women’s lives can be enriched by regular fellowship with and support from “sisters in Christ.”
The Sisters Fellowship meets multiple times a year for 8-week Bible studies or uplifting book discussions. There are also other fellowship events and occasional fundraisers. Many members have young children, so childcare is usually available. Meetings are casual, “come as you are” events.
If you would like to come to a Sisters Fellowship event or find out more about this group, please contact email@example.com.
Lovefeast in a Box Fundraiser
Lovefeast in a Box is both a ministry and a fundraiser of the Sisters Fellowship of Calvary Moravian Church. As a ministry, boxes are a way to share fellowship and tradition with people near and far who are otherwise unable to attend Christmas Eve Lovefeasts. Funds raised are used to support families in need (both member and non-member) in a variety of ways, such as “Bereavement Boxes” and other care ministries of the Sisters Fellowship.
